Hubert Vo received the prestigious "You Make a Difference" award form the Alief Independent School District Board of Trustees this week for speaking out on important issues affecting the district and public education.

"Mr. Vo never hesitates to step up to the plate on behalf of Alief ISD," said Superintendent Louis Stoemer. "When he is not representing us in Austin, he is very involved and visible in the community."

When he ran for office two years ago, Hubert promised to use his leverage to make a positive difference in people's lives. So far, so good!
